Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ClientCoded's products and services, including the Agent Testing web application, the ClientCoded Chrome Extension, the AI SDR, the Sequences platform, the Demo Creator, the Manual Scorer, and any related tools, APIs, or features (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using any of the Services, you agree to these Terms.

ClientCoded ("we," "our," "us") is operated by Travis Cronin. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and ClientCoded.

2. The Services

Agent Testing (Web Application)

Agent Testing generates synthetic prospect and customer personas that interact with AI chat agents via webhook endpoints. Each conversation is scored across six dimensions and presented as a scorecard. The Free tier includes 3 persona types with limited tests. The Pro tier ($299/month) includes all 12 persona types (6 sales, 6 support), unlimited tests, weekly automated monitoring, and score change alerts.

Chrome Extension

The ClientCoded Chrome Extension interacts with live AI chat widgets on third-party websites. It detects chat widgets, sends synthetic prospect messages into the widget, reads agent responses, and submits the conversation for scoring. The extension currently supports Intercom, HubSpot, and ClientCoded widgets, with additional platforms planned. The extension operates by interacting with website elements the same way a human user would.

AI SDR

The AI SDR is an AI-powered chat and form widget that qualifies website visitors through conversation, scores leads on a 0-100 scale, sends Slack alerts with discovery briefs for qualified leads, and books meetings via Calendly integration. The Basic tier ($499/month) includes the chat widget, lead scoring, Slack alerts, Calendly integration, and 3 qualification questions. The Pro tier ($999/month) adds inline form capture, unlimited qualification questions, objection handling customization, and competitive positioning.

Sequences

Sequences automates multi-day email follow-up with CRM sync (HubSpot, Salesforce), reply detection, no-show recovery, and lead reactivation. Pricing ranges from $999/month (Starter) to $2,499/month (Scale).

Demo Creator

The Demo Creator allows configuration of AI SDR widgets for demonstration purposes on external websites. Demo environments are clearly identified as demonstrations and are not intended to represent the AI SDR as a product of the website hosting the demo.

Manual Scorer

The Manual Scorer is an internal tool that accepts pasted conversation transcripts and scores them using the same six-dimension scoring engine. Results are saved to the database and generate shareable scorecard URLs.

3. Accounts and Billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• All subscriptions are month-to-month. You may cancel at any time.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days written notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price change takes effect.
• Free tier usage is subject to rate limits (currently 2 tests per email address and 3 tests per agent endpoint for Agent Testing). These limits may change.
• Pro accounts are authenticated via email and a unique token generated at the time of purchase. You are responsible for keeping your Pro credentials secure. Do not share your account credentials with others.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use Agent Testing or the Chrome Extension to disrupt, interfere with, or damage the operation of any third-party website, service, or AI agent.
• Run stress tests at a volume or frequency intended to degrade a third-party's service (denial-of-service behavior).
• Use the Services to send spam, phishing messages, or other unsolicited communications through AI agents.
• Misrepresent scorecard results, fabricate scores, or attribute scores to agents that were not actually tested.
• Use the Chrome Extension on websites you do not have authorization to test, except for publicly accessible AI chat widgets that are designed to interact with any website visitor.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the scoring rubrics, persona generation prompts, or other proprietary logic from the Services.
• Share, resell, or redistribute your Pro subscription access to others not covered by your account.
• Use the Services to collect personal information about real individuals through AI agent conversations.
• Submit content through the Services that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

5. Chrome Extension Specific Terms

The Chrome Extension interacts with third-party websites by typing messages into chat widgets and reading responses. By using the extension:

• You acknowledge that the extension sends messages to AI chat agents on websites you visit. These messages are generated by our synthetic persona engine and are clearly artificial in nature.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authorization to test AI agents on websites you do not own. Publicly accessible chat widgets that invite visitor interaction are generally considered authorized for testing.
• The extension does not collect, store, or transmit any data from the websites you visit beyond the AI agent conversation transcript. It does not access cookies, local storage, form data, login credentials, or any content outside the chat widget.
• The extension requires broad host permissions to function across websites. These permissions are used solely to interact with chat widgets and are not used for tracking, advertising, or data collection.
• Conversation transcripts generated by the extension are sent to our servers for scoring and stored in our database. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

6. Intellectual Property

• The Services, including the scoring engine, persona generation system, behavioral scripts, scoring rubrics, and all associated code, are the intellectual property of ClientCoded.
• Scorecards generated by the Services are provided for your use. You may share scorecard URLs and reference your scores publicly. You may not claim that scores were generated by ClientCoded if they were not.
• You retain ownership of any data you provide to the Services, including agent endpoint URLs, business descriptions, ICP information, and qualification criteria.
• Conversation transcripts generated during testing are jointly owned. You may use them for your internal purposes. We may use anonymized, aggregated versions for benchmarking, training data generation, and product improvement as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Data and Benchmarks

By using the Services, you acknowledge that:

• Anonymized, aggregated data from your tests may be included in industry benchmark reports. These reports never identify you, your company, your agent, or your endpoint.
• Aggregate conversation patterns (not your actual transcripts) may be used to generate synthetic training datasets. These datasets are anonymized and cannot be traced back to any individual test.
• You may request deletion of your individual test data at any time by emailing travis@clientcoded.com. Anonymized patterns that have already been incorporated into aggregate datasets may persist.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

• Scores and grades are generated by AI and represent an automated assessment. They are not guarantees of agent quality, performance, or fitness for any particular purpose.
• We do not guarantee that the scoring engine will identify all issues with your AI agent, or that an agent scoring highly will perform well in all real-world scenarios.
• The ROI Calculator on our website produces estimates based entirely on numbers you input. These estimates are for planning purposes only and are not guarantees of revenue, savings, or business outcomes.
• We are not responsible for any business decisions made based on scorecard results, benchmark data, or ROI estimates.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, updates, and technical issues may temporarily affect availability.
• The AI SDR is a tool to assist your sales process. It does not guarantee lead conversion, meeting bookings, or revenue generation. Results depend on your product, market, traffic quality, and many other factors.
• Weekly automated monitoring depends on your agent endpoint being accessible at the time of testing. We are not responsible for test failures caused by endpoint downtime, authentication changes, or configuration modifications on your end.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClientCoded shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to ClientCoded in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive usage, or fail to pay applicable fees.
• We may terminate the Services or any feature at any time with 30 days notice to active subscribers.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends. Data associated with your account may be deleted after 90 days unless you request earlier deletion or data export.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify active subscribers via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
